How to create audio with Foleyix.

Everyone starts in the simple workspace: enter a script or sound description, generate audio, listen and download WAV. Verified new accounts receive 5 one-time generation minutes. Creator, Studio and Ultra subscribers can switch to the professional workspace to build multi-segment podcasts and audio stories.

1. Write a script or describe a sound

In the simple workspace, freely enter one script or sound description. Optional templates suggest prompt text in the input box for you to review and edit. Your final text is submitted directly, without automatically added type, style or duration directions. A request holds up to 3,000 characters including your directions. Describe your desired duration in the prompt: the model supports podcast content up to 4 minutes and other content up to 2 minutes. These are upper limits, not exact-duration controls. Watch Tasks for the result and download its WAV file without using episode export allowance. In the paid professional workspace, create projects and divide longer scripts into segments.

2. Professional: create and choose synthetic characters

A paid plan unlocks the professional character library. Describe an original character’s timbre, language and performance, save it and generate a short sample. Choose up to three ready character samples for a segment and keep their names consistent in the script. The simple workspace describes voices directly in the prompt. Personal voice uploads are not part of this version.

3. Professional: compare and arrange

Both workspaces generate in the background; leaving the page does not cancel an accepted task. We reserve up to 4 minutes for an audio generation or 30 seconds for a professional character sample, capped by your remaining generation time. Once valid audio is saved, only its actual duration is charged, rounded up to a whole second, and the unused reservation is released. Each new result counts; listening and downloading do not. In the professional workspace, compare versions, select clips, arrange their order and adjust pauses, gain and fades.

Check your tasks anytime

The simple workspace shows single-generation tasks and results. The professional workspace also shows project and character tasks. Check queued, running, completed, failed or unknown results and play or download retained audio. Tasks continue after you close the page. Both workspaces share the account queue. After professional access ends, professional tasks and projects stay hidden until renewal.

Your generation queue holds 1 active task on Free, 2 on Creator, 5 on Studio and 10 on Ultra. Capacity is shared across your account. Queued and running tasks count. Completed, failed and unknown-result tasks free a slot, so you can submit another task. Unknown results are not automatically regenerated.

4. Professional: export an episode

Export the selected clips that match your current script, in numbered order. WAV is 48 kHz stereo PCM 16-bit; MP3 is 192 kbps. Clip ZIP includes individual clips processed with your gain and fade settings, the script and an arrangement manifest. An arranged episode can be up to 30 minutes including pauses; build it from separate generations. Re-download an existing result as often as needed.

How to plan your minutes

Use Creator for occasional projects, Studio for the best standard price per minute and Ultra for high-volume creation with 600 minutes and 5 GB of private storage. Both workspaces share generation time and storage, including previous professional audio and exports. Every new result, character sample and sound effect uses its actual duration. Listening and downloading existing audio use no generation time or episode export allowance; a new professional episode export uses one export allowance. Free trial: simple workspace, 200 MB and 7-day audio retention. After paid access ends, retained professional files still count toward the free storage limit; renew or wait for expired files to be cleaned up if storage is full.

When a task needs attention

A definite system failure returns the held allowance. If an upstream request times out after it may have started, the result is marked unknown and is not automatically regenerated. Storage retries reuse the known upstream result; export retries reuse the saved snapshot.
